Daniel Russell Bishop (pictured above) is Oakwood Hills leading strike bowler. Over the coming months Daniel will be sharing his and some of his friends cricketing hints and tips. This week Daniel shares with us his tips on bowling to left handers. If you are an in-swinging bowler you may well find it easier bowling across the left hander increasing the chances of slip and gulley catches. Focus your eyes on an area on the wicket to pitch each ball and if you are bowling a yorker delivery to a left hander, always try and look at the bottom of the stumps. Hold the ball as far up your fingers as you can while still feeling that you have control of it. Bowl from as close to the stumps as possible.
